DocuNote's add-in for Outlook allows you to save sent and received e-mails and attachments directly to DocuNote client. E-mails can be archived in their original 'MSG' format, including attachments which can also be saved as individual files. This makes easy to archive your e-mails (and attachments) together with other related documents to one case, and then work with their properties just as regular documents.

It is now also possible to archive a read receipt (message delivery confirmation) and meeting request (.ics file). The last one can be useful if you have written an agenda in the meeting request.

Save in DocuNote - Add-In

Archiving e-mails to DocuNote

Here is how to save e-mails to DocuNote:

  1. Select appropriate e-mails (you can select just as many e-mails as you want, both received and sent).

  2. Click the Save in DocuNote button in Outlook.

  3. The dialog box "Archive e-mail message to DocuNote" appears, where you can choose the location for selected e-mails to be archived.

  4. Optionally, you may create a new organizational item when browsing for location by clicking New archive cabinet/ New case / New document folder/ New media folder, respectively on the toolbar.
