"The new Outlook" add-in is an extension program for DocuNote that allows users to archive emails and attachments directly from Outlook to the DocuNote client.
This makes it easy to save emails together with other related documents in one case and then work with their properties in the same way as with regular documents.

How to attach a DocuNote element to an outgoing e-mail:
Select appropriate e-mails
Click the DocuNote app-icon in it’s mail body
If it’s not visible it can be found nested in the apps section of the mail body

Right-click on the icon to pin it to the mail menu bar.
More emails can be archived simultaneously - then the “DocuNote App-icon” will be found under “More Apps” in the “mail body window”

From here you can navigate the DocuNote organisation tree, including the nodes “Favourite folders”, “Last archived” and “most recently used”, to find the organisational item you want to save your email in.

Searched cases | If you searched for cases using the appropriate field at the top, this node will list all the cases matching your criteria. You can search cases by title or number. |
Searched contacts | If you searched for contacts using the appropriate field at the top, this node will list all the cases matching your criteria. You can search contacts by company name, address, phone number or e-mail address. |
Please note: • From DocuNote 7.0, the activation of fuzziness for quick search is controlled under setting (784) Address Book Quick Search Fuzziness on Text. (See ‣) | | Favourite folders | Let you browse through your cases marked as "favourite" in DocuNote. If you have no favourite cases, this node will be inaccessible. | | Last archived | Lists the last 20 cases where you have previously saved e-mails from the same person. The most recently used case with such e-mail is marked in red. | | Most recently used | This list shows the 30 most recently used locations. | </aside>
Click “Save” to continue, giving you the choice whether just to “Save” the email to the selected organisational item, “save and delete” and hereby move the mail to outlook trash bin, or return to the organisational tree by clicking the “x”
After saving, a message “E-mail was saved in DocuNote” will shortly be displayed, before the “Outlook DocuNote App” will close.
