Editing a document in DocuNote involves opening the document in the appropriate editor application, then saving the changes and checking the document back in.
To edit the document:
Make changes to the document in your editor.
After you have finished editing your document, close the editor.
If it is an Office document (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), the Office add-in can be used for completion (see more here MS Office Add-in under "End editing via MS Office Add-in"
Else way close the program the standard way, chose “Save” in the popup window

Adobe Save as box - Click on the path it suggests (Top option)
Windows Save As - Click on “Save” without making changes
