Overview

A document status describes the current document state, e.g. draft, reviewed, approved. DocuNote provides a number of default document statuses which you can assign to the document. In addition to default statuses, you can create your own custom statuses. For details, see Documents and cases - statuses (Administrator guide).


Assign/change the status to the document

… through the Properties dialog box

  1. Select the document and click Properties on the ribbon bar. The Properties form will appear.

  2. Using Status drop-down box, select the task available in the list.

  3. Save your changes.

…after editing the document

  1. After you finish your document editing, either by “check-in” or by closing via the “x”, one of the below dialog boxes appears.

  2. Select the status next to the Status drop-down box.

  3. Click OK.

  1. Right-click the document.

  2. Point to Change status on the context menu and select the status available from the list.
