Another useful feature of the Send To option is the ability to create a custom location. For more information, see Custom 'Send To' menu (Context menu editor).
If you create shortcuts to the contacts from the address book, please make sure, the contact has an account ID assigned to it. Otherwise, the shortcut will not work.
In addition, you can send shortcuts to cases that will be addressed to contacts listed in DocuNote address book. For more details, see MS Office integration - Sending e-mails to DocuNote contacts.
“.DNO shortcuts” created for case/document shortcuts in DocuNote client will locate the shortcut itself, not the original document or the case.
Limited access: There is different outcome, if a DNO is created to a location, where access isn’t granted to above structure, for the one activating the .dno:
If action is “locate”; The user will be navigated to a temporary area called “Limited Access” (icon; needle) showing the object. Here the user can work as usual.
If action is “Properties”; The properties of the object will be shown, but no navigation will be done.
If action “view” is set on a document; the document will be opened, but no located. </aside>
