The explorer panel displays all objects contained in a node in the Organization tree.
Like any other explorers, it has a hierarchical structure with a breadcrumb trail allowing you to keep track of your current location and navigate within business units.
Items displayed on the Explorer panel are sorted according to the set setting.

Navigation and browsing tips:
- You can always come back to the Start page by clicking your name in the organization tree.
- While the explorer pane is in focus, type the first few letters of an item to jump directly to that item.
- If a folder is in gray color (), then it does not contain any items.
- Pressing F2 will allow you to rename the item without opening the Properties window.
- You can set the last-applied sort order to be automatically applied (Explorer settings) the next time when you open DocuNote unit in explorer panel.
- Pressing Tab will switch the focus between Explorer panel and Organization tree.
- Pressing Backspace will take you one level up in the directory tree. This works in all explorer windows like Address book explorer, Taxonomy explorer.
- When browsing through the organization tree, you can always collapse the tree up to the root node by pressing Ctrl+Left Arrow.
- Filtering options for cases and documents as well as manage tabs options are viewed by clicking the button
- Clicking left and right arrows top right will allow you to jump back and forward through visited locations. Clicking and holding the arrow button will display the history of locations.
