Overview
PDF Composer is a tool available in DocuNote client that helps you convert documents or parts of the documents into one or more PDF’s.
In DocuNote client the feature can be used for selected documents of the supported formats listed in the buttom of this document.
PDF Composer is also available as Outlook Add-in where it can be used to work with selected emails and their attachments (see MS Office integration - Archiving e-mails to DocuNote - Classic Outlook)

⚠️ Please note:
- When using PDF Composer, DocuNote will provide you with the latest version (draft or published) of the document you have permission to access.
- Learn more about Organizational roles and assigning a permission to View Draft.
- PDF Conversion needs to be activated in the Feature manager

Tip:
- You can also start the "Compose PDF" function when a case is selected. The composer opens empty, but you can use "Add document" to add documents from other locations in DocuNote (this is described later on this page).
- The created document(s) will be placed in this case.

Starting Compose PDF
In order to start the composing process, select one or several documents of the format supported for composing, and either click PDF > Compose PDF button in the Ribbonbar:

Tip:
- Documents located in zip archive can be automatically pulled to PDF Composer. This option is available for documents with supported formats for PDF composing.
