Error debugging or bug fixing are not conducted on earlier versions. Integration with other products like Microsoft Office and Windows Operating System will be optimally supported in the latest version. To maintain a stable platform, we recommend keeping your installation updated.
Microsofts products are generally supported for the latest two versions, or a minimum of 5 years from Microsoft's release, which relate to Microsofts general support phase. There will be exceptions and special requirements for used operating systems and other products, especially the server environment. That means when Microsoft releases a new version of a product, support for a previously supported version of the product will be discontinued.
This product life cycle requires the customer to maintain clients and servers with contemporary Microsoft products that meet the supported platforms. It is in both the customer's and IntraNote's interest that the systems are continually lifted to modern platforms ensuring that the product works best and that modern technology can be implemented in the product. Please note that DocuNote does not follow Microsoft's Extended Supported Lifecycle, but their General Support Phase and two latest versions.
