Two-factor authentication
Two-factor authentication is a procedure of logging in to the Mobile Application. It is based on a requirement to provide user credentials and a pin code which is sent by SMS.
Configuring settings for two-factor authentication
To enable two-factor authentication, several settings in DocuNote client should be configured properly. Follow the steps described below.
Mobile settings
- Click on DocuNote to access Backstage panel to and select Settings.
- Expand Mobile settings folder and select General settings.
- From the Form login authentication drop-down list, select Two factors.
- Click Save.

⚠️ Please note:
- Settings SMS URL, Pin length and Pin content are shared for Mobile and Webportal authentication. To learn more about these settings, visit manual page Types of authentication to Webportal (Authentication process (Web)).

💡 Tips:
- The SMS is sent to user’s phone marked as Mobile phone in Address book setup.
- The Phones field must be specified with a valid phone number without ‘+’ prefix.
