Taxonomies are structures that provide an alternative way of classifying documents in DocuNote. For details, see Taxonomy

As administrator, you can create the taxonomy structure manually or import large amount of taxonomy records at once from an external XML file or from local file system.

Creating taxonomy strcuture manually

The taxonomy record can be created as a sub-item to the existing item. To create a new taxonomy item:

  1. Right-click the existing taxonomy item and select Create from the context menu.

  1. Provide the item with the unique identifiers, such as Alias and Name*.*

  1. Optionally, you can enter the Description*.*
  2. Decide whether it will be Folder or Topic*.*
  3. When done, click Save.
