Overview

Emails with encrypted PDF attachments can be easily saved in DocuNote client. You can choose when to provide a password for the encrypted document:

• during saving the encrypted document in necessary location;
• while opening the document in DocuNote.

Saving encrypted attachments

To save an email with encrypted PDF attachment:

1. Open the necessary email and click Save in DocuNote on the ribbon bar.
2. Select the appropriate location for saving.
3. In the Archive Outlook item to DocuNote (Arkiver e-mails til DocuNote - Klassisk Outlook) dialog box, mark the Archive the email attachments to DocuNote checkbox.
4. Click Save.

After the saving process is started, appears Decrypt document dialog box.

Here you can specify a password for the encrypted document. Marking the Import the document as password protected checkbox, delays password request until the document will be opened in DocuNote.

Select the appropriate option and click OK.

To delay password request while importing several encrypted documents, mark Import all documents as password-protected checkbox.
