Overview

The setting described below let you set up the Office integration.

Settings

To edit Office Integration settings, follow the steps below:

1. Click DocuNote to navigate to the Backstage panel and open Settings*.*
2. In the left navigation panel under Settings, click Office integration*.*
3. Check the following settings:

- All expanded - the tree structure is displayed in the expanded view by default; - All collapsed - the tree structure is displayed in the collapsed view by defaul**t;

• Remember last used** - last collapsed/expanded state for every folder/subfolder is remembered per user. | | Emails | | | Setting | Description | | (778) Outlook version | This defines which version of Outlook, that DocuNote shall interact with:
• Classic Outlook or
• The New Outlook | | (30) Default document category for archived e-mails | This document category will be suggested as default one when archiving e-mails. | | (156) Default document category for archived e-mail attachments | This document category will be suggested as default one when archiving e-mail attachments.  | | (86) Remember current folder when sending e-mails | If activated, every time you send e-mail with the document attached, the ID of the folder the e-mail was initiated from is inserted at the bottom of the e-mail body. | | (96) Empty document clipboard if the e-mail has been sent from basket | If Yes, the system will automatically clear the DocuNote document clipboard when the document from the clipboard is sent via e-mail.    | | (362) Enable advanced Outlook features | Activates the following modules and features in DocuNote client:

**- Meeting requests

• Outlook tasks
• vCards
• E-mail templates -** the option Add as appointment in the Date field**.** | | (416) Collapse the "Matching cases" folder by default | If yes, the "Matching cases" node is displayed in collapsed view by default. | | (421) Attachment check box default behaviour | Sets the default behaviour for selecting attachments in the the Outlook Add-in. Available options:

- Checked - the Attachments panel is activated by default with the list of attachments being preselected.

• Unchecked - the Attachments panel is deactivated by default.

• Force checked - the Attachments panel is activated by default with the list of attachments being preselected. But the user is not allowed to uncheck the attachments. | | (433) Last archived location colour | Sets the colour for highlighting the path to the last archived location node. | | (436) Create shortcuts when multiple items are selected | Automatically creates the references (shortcuts) to the items when saving items to multiple locations in the Outlook Add-in. | | (519) Internal mail domains | Let you specify the domain name that is considered internal. When the e-mail is archived to DocuNote and its To or From fields contain the e-mail address with the domain name that matches the one you specify in this setting, the e-mail will be marked as "Internal" by default. | | (542) Automatically extract zip files hen archiving e-mail attachments | It Yes, the system will automatically extract content from zip files in e-mail attachments.  | | (543) Use case selected in client as archive location | If Yes, the node that is selected in the client will be displayed at the top of the list under "Most recently used" node. | | (623) Default action when document name equal to attachment name exists | Choose default action if the location where attachment is saved already contains a document with identical name:

• New version of existing document - saves the attachment as new version of existing document

• Save in the same location - save in the same location as a separate item. | | (630) Extract attachments while drag’n’drop | If set to Yes, saves an e-mail and its attachments in the selected location separately. Default value is No. | | (635) Support multiple selection with CTRL only | If Yes - multiple selection is possible only when a user holds CTRL button. | | (636) Autoselect last used folder while archiving emails in DocuNote | If Yes - the last used folder is automatically preselected. | | (713) Add email address to recipient name when saving emails | If Yes - the email will be saved with the recipient names and their email addresses. | | (714) Save sender\recipients as a party on saved email | If Yes - In case the email addresses from following fields are found in address book, the matched users and contacts will be added as parties to the archived email:

• Sender - when Archiving form Inbox

• Recipients - when archiving from Sent or Outbox | | (788) TenantID | Placeholder for TenantID authentication value
