Overview

E-mail templates help users to send messages that include information that doesn't change from message to message.

Once intergrated with Outlook, DocuNote allows user to create HTML templates or upload MSG files from Outlook into the DocuNote template library and later use them while creating new e-mails.

Finding your settings

Checking permissions

Before you start using e-mail templates, please check if appropriate permissions are set up:

  1. Click DocuNote to access Backstage panel and go to System Setup*.*
  2. In the left navigation panel switch to Roles and Permissions*.*
  3. Click Roles and edit the Module Role*.*
  4. Check if the following permissions are enabled under Template section:
Permission Description
Manage templates Allows you to upload templates
Manage template folders Allows you to create template folders and subfolders
Manage template permissions Determines whether you can assign permissions to other users for managing templates.
  1. Click Save to apply your changes, if any.
