Overview

DocuNote now makes it possible to keep log information on mostly all actions and events performed by every single user in the system.

Logging services provide several filtering options that give you the flexibility to determine which events and activities are displayed in log report.

Accessing the log

You can access the log information either by invoking Overall log or Item log.

Overall log

The Log module includes all information logged by the system. To access the Log module, click DocuNote tab and then Log module*.*

The DocuNote log window appears with blank fields allowing you to filter the log data up to your needs. For more information, see ā€˜Filtering the logā€™ later in this manual.

Item log

Alternatively, you can access log on specific item. You may find it helpful if you need to view user's activities associated with specific item. As well, it can save your time when filtering log information. For more information, see ā€˜Filtering the logā€™ later in this manual.

This option can be triggered by right-clicking the item and selecting Other functions>Log module>View log from the context menu (right click) or selecting the item.

You will notice, the DocuNote log dialog box will appear with Item field being filled already.
