Overview

The Log module in DocuNote records all actions and events performed by users in the system. It allows tracking who has created, edited, or deleted items, as well as when the action took place. The module offers comprehensive filtering options, so you can easily find specific activities based on item, action, date, or user. Log information can be accessed via Overall log (all actions), Item log (actions for specific item), or Template log.

Additionally, specific log modules exist for permissions and searches (see links to subsites at the top or bottom of this page).

Accessing the log

You can access the log information either by invoking Overall log or Item log.

Overall log

The Log module includes all information logged by the system. To access the Log module, click DocuNote tab and then Log module*.*

The DocuNote log window appears with blank fields allowing you to filter the log data up to your needs. For more information, see ā€˜Filtering the log’ later in this manual.

Item log

Alternatively, you can access log on specific item. You may find it helpful if you need to view user's activities associated with specific item. As well, it can save your time when filtering log information. For more information, see ā€˜Filtering the log’ later in this manual.

This option can be triggered by right-clicking the item and selecting Other functions>Log module>View log from the context menu (right click) or selecting the item.
