Overview

You can keep track of actions performed by various users in the system though the module. The logs can include information such as who has created, edited, deleted the specific item, etc. Or, for instance, you may want to know the time a user was active or how many actions have been done by a user during a certain period of time.

Finding your log settings

Feature activation

To use this functionality, the Log feature should be activated in the Feature manager.

Setting up permissions

  1. Click DocuNote tab and click System Setup*.*
  2. In the left navigation panel switch to Roles and Permissions*.*
  3. Click Roles and edit the Module Role*.*
  4. Check if the following permissions are enabled under Log section:
Permission Description
Manage log Provides full access to log management and Administrator settings.
Access to full log Allows users to access log module and Search log from DocuNote start menu.
Access to user log Allows users to access ‘View log by user’ in Address book on a specific user using the context menu (right click).
Access to Permission log Allows users to access permission log module from DocuNote start menu
Access to Template log Allows users to access log on templates
Access to task log Allows users to access log on task
Access to address book log Allows users to access log on contacts and companies in address book
  1. Click Save to apply your changes.

Also, please check the following permission in Organizational Role under Log module section:

Permission Description
View logs Allows users to access logs on specific item by using the context menu (right click) or via the ribbon bar.
