Document registrations are virtual DocuNote items and cannot be processed in external editor applications. However, they contain metadata and can be searched like real physical documents.

To use the option, select the document and click New>Document registration on the ribbon bar.

Then, follow the standard document creation wizard.

Please note:

• When deleted, the document registrations are not moved to the Recycle bin and cannot be restored.
• The setting “(189) Allow creating document registrations” should be activated (Documents settings) in order to use this functionality. </aside>
