Searching in templates

The search logic has been changed to prioritize searching in all folders, except when a specific folder is selected. This means that by default, you can search in all templates without making any active choices. In the previous search logic, one could unintentionally search in a smaller part of the templates, such as the most recently used. Now, the root of the template tree is selected by default when the template selection screen is opened.

Archiving from Teams

Documents opened from Teams can now be archived via the DocuNote add-in in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The document is opened as usual in the respective application (not in the online applications), and then it can be archived via the "Save to DocuNote" button. In previous versions, it was not possible to perform this operation on documents opened from Teams, which resulted in an error.

Zip of documents

The component for zipping documents during export has been replaced. The previous component could in certain cases create a zip file with errors in compressed documents.

Zip of documents from form

It is now possible to zip documents that have been automatically archived via a "Signing XML Form" returned from IntraNote Signing. Previously, such documents were ignored.

Drag'n'Drop scroll

Improved drag'n'drop has been implemented to function like it does in Windows Explorer, where the screen scrolls when dragging a file up or down towards the edge. Previously, the screen was static and it was only possible to drag to a visible document or area.

Offline module (‣)

The offline module has been discontinued and removed from the application. It will no longer be possible to use this module for managing documents for offline use. If there are users who have documents offline, they must be synchronized before updating DocuNote, as it will not be possible afterwards, where a manual update will be necessary. The Offline module is typically replaced by a more modern technologies such as OneDrive, so we have chosen to phase it out.
