Overview

Notes tool lets you easily write down and save memos in the form of text notes for every element in DocuNote organization tree, contacts and companies in the address book, and tasks.


Accessing the Notes panel

To access the Notes panel, right-click the item and select Notes from the contextual menu, click Ctrl+J (or Alt+N), or access it from the Note-pane on the items properties.

Creating a new note

To create a new note:

  1. Click the Create icon in the Notes panel.

  2. Fill in the following fields.

Permission profile Se section below
Note type Let you apply the predefined or custom note type to the note. For details, see ‣
Note The information text
Subject The summary information
Occurrence The date the note is relevant for.
Public access Let you apply the "public access" status to the note.

  1. Click Create when done.

Restricting access to the notes

Sometimes, you may come across situations where you need only a few individuals to see a particular note. Firstly, you need to create the profile where you will specify users who will have read-access to the notes. For details, see Notes settings
