The copy function creates a duplicate of the case in another location.

To copy the case, right-click the case and select Other functions>Copy to location from the context menu.
The dialog box will appear allowing you to select the location.

Select the location and click Copy. The New case form will appear letting you fill in the fields and click Create case.

If you want to automatically copy the values to the newly copied case, you should enable the "Include in copy" property" for all the fields on the original case metaform.
The following fields still can contain only unique values and do not have the "Include in copy" property:
Conversation
Identity
Journal date
Latest document date
Number
Number of documents
Created
