All DocuNote users in the Address book are divided into the following groups:

• AD groups - groups that are synchronized from the Active Directory.
• Entra ID groups - groups that are synchronized from Azure Entra ID (see Azure Entra ID and Microsoft Identity)
• Local groups - groups which are created by Address book administrator.

<aside> ⚠️ Please note:

• Local groups and their subgroups are displayed in the navigation tree on the root level.
• To work with local groups, you will need the "Manage local groups" module role

You can create subgroups for any of Local groups:

1. Expand Local groups folder and select Create local group from the context menu.

2. Do one of the following:

   • Right-click the group and select Create local group from the context menu;
   • Click Create local group on the ribbon bar.

3. Specify necessary parameters in the creation form and Save your changes.
