Overview

When you navigate through Address book in Show related cases mode you can see the list of cases and documents that are linked to specific contacts.

The settings "(48) Show related cases" and "(168) Show related documents" (Address book - Settings) affects what is shown.

This manual will show you how to link the cases or documents to specific contacts.

Placing contact metafield on case/document metaform

First, you should place the specific metafield on your case or document metaform. Follow these steps:

1. Access the backstage panel and select Metaforms Designer*.*
   • See Metaforms designer
2. Click the Create design for case*/*document icon on the ribbon bar to create a new case/document metaform. Alternatively, you can modify the existing metaform of your choice.
3. Provide the metaform with a name and label.
4. Place Contact picker or Parties field on the metaform.
5. Save your settings.
