Overview

DocuNote allows you to provide direct links to the documents, templates and cases located in the document repository.

You can use these links for easy access, share them with other DocuNote users, or use them to give references inside other documents.

• You have to be a DocuNote user and have corresponding rights to access the documents, templates, and cases via direct links. </aside>

Direct links to documents and templates

To provide a direct link to the document, right-click the document and select Create link to document from the context menu.

• The direct links to the templates are created the same way using the context menu. The templates are stored in the Skabeloner browser. </aside>

Once clicked, the link is copied to the Windows clipboard, allowing you to use it for your reference needs.

For example, you can open the browser and paste the link in the address bar. The URL pasted into the browser address bar will look similar to the following:

http://docunoteserver/documentservice.aspx?number=2008-0662

After hitting Enter, the document will be downloaded into Downloads folder on your computer.
