Overview

With new Subscription action tracking system, users can monitor the changes made to DocuNote documents and cases. Combined with e-mail notifications, users can ensure they do not miss any important changes.

Setting up permissions

In order for subscription notifications to work for a particular user, you have to amend respective Module Role

  1. Click the DocuNote tab, and then click System Setup*.*
  2. In the left navigation panel switch to Roles and Permissions*.*
  3. Click Roles and edit the Module Role*.*
  4. Check if the following permissions are enabled under Subscription section:

Permission Description
Subscribe to actions Activates the Manage subscription contextual menu.
Subscribe to actions on behalf of other users Activates the Manage subscription contextual menu and let you subscribe other users to actions. If this permission is disabled, the Users contact picker (intended for subscribing users) becomes unavailable.
  1. Save your changes, if any.

To receive notifications about activities from a particular business unit, case, or a folder, you need to set respective permissions explicitly for the files which that item contains.
