A practical time-saving feature is the Send documents to menu, which allows you to send documents and templates to various locations. This menu is available both on the ribbon bar and from the context menu when you right-click on an item and then hover over Send document/template to.

It is possible to create special naming for exported documents for each document category, for the function Send documents to.
Go to the Administration area, navigate to System setup, under the Documents and cases tab expand document categories, and navigate to the document category you wish to have a separate naming for.
In the field Naming of exported document, you can insert free text, data from text fields (by inserting the field's name in {}), as well as the commonly supported references {T} - title, {N} - number, {V} - version, {S} - status.
