Module roles in DocuNote are a central part of the permission system that controls users' access to system functions. Unlike organizational roles, which are linked to specific areas in the organizational tree, module roles focus on access to general system functions and modules.
Module roles define what a user can do in the system independently of their organizational placement. They are assigned directly to users or groups and include specific permissions for system functions.
Module roles provide a flexible and structured way to control function access across the system, ensuring that users only have access to the functions they need in their work. Changes to a module role automatically affect all users with this role, making rights administration more efficient.
