Overview

Receiver systems allow for subscribing to receive messages from the Digital Mail service and accepting incoming communication from external senders.

The parameters for setting up receiver systems should be obtained from a Digital Mail consultant.

Set up receiver systems

Follow the steps below to configure recipient system parameters:

1. Click DocuNote to access System Administration.
2. Select System Setup.
3. Under the Documents and Cases tab in the Integration section, expand the Digital Mail menu and select Receiver Systems.

The Maintain Digital Mail Receiver System window is displayed, showing the list of active receiver systems.

Here you can add new, edit, or delete existing receiver systems:

1. Click Add to add a new receiver system.

2. Set up the following parameters in the New receiver system window:

   Receiver system name - Fill in the name of your recipient system.

   API key - Write the API key.

   • The API key is an attribute in the REST system's system registration. It is used by Digital Mail to identify which system is calling the API, not as a method of establishing a secure communication channel (this is why SSL is still required). The API key is a randomly generated string of text that is unique to the system in question. When the system is generated through Administrative Access, an API key is always automatically assigned - note that the system still needs to be valid and active to be used.

   CVR - Write the CVR number.

   Post list - Select the post list to be associated with the current recipient system.
