In order to simplify the process of metaform design creation in Web, DocuNote provides the ability to copy original metaform from your client to Web. You can copy metaforms of Case, Document and User types.
To copy a client metaform:
- Navigate to Administration tab>Metaforms designer.
- In the Forms navigation tree, right-click on the necessary metaform.
- From the context menu, select Copy to Web. The copied metaform is opened.
- Make necessary changes on the metaform and specify the new name and label. Save the changes.
The copied metaform is displayed in the appropriate folder under the Web forms category.
Alternatively, for copying, you can click Copy to Web on the ribbon bar.

⚠️ Please note:
- Some fields of a client metaform design are not supported in Web. If the original metaform contains unsupported fields, they might be disabled or removed from the metaform. In this instance, the notification message is displayed.
