When the person is attached to the company, you can also merge his parent contact information . For example, you may want to merge the name of the person along with the address information of his company.

Creating persons in the Address book

The contact information has to be predefined in DocuNote Address Book. In our example, we have several persons attached to the company*.*

Adjusting the document metaform design

The next step is to create the metafield of Contact picker type. The field of this type is used to choose persons from the Address book when merging data to documents.

1. Click the DocuNote tab and select Metaforms designer*.*
2. Switch to the Fields tab and click the Contact picker on the ribbon bar.
3. Fill in all required properties for this metafield and click Save.

1. After the metafield has been created, switch to the Forms tab, and place it on the metaform of your choice.
