Overview
Media folders provide a simple way to store and organize digital media content in the DocuNote client.
Unlike document folders, media folders accept files with the following formats:
Images: .bmp, .jpg, .png, .tiff, .gif, .tif, .jpeg
Videos: .3g2, .3gp, .asf, .asx, .avi, .flv, .mov, .mp4, .mpg, .rm, .swf, .vob, .wmv

⚠️ Please note:
- When uploaded in DocuNote, videos are converted to H.264 video codec, giving you high-quality standards.
- To take advantage of H.264 video quality standard, the Video conversion feature must be activated in the Feature manager.

Media folder ribbon bar
The media folder ribbon bar features buttons that allow you to work with your media files.

- Create
- New media folder - create a new media folder in current location.
- Import media - import media files from your PC.
- Media
- Edit - open a media item for edit.
- View - open a media item for preview.
- Properties open the properties of a media item.
- Versions - lets you work with the versions of the media item.
- Version history - displays the version history of a media item.
- Upload new version - allows you to upload a new version of a selected media item.
- Convert to draft converts a selected media item to draft.
- Share - share a selected media item.
- Delete - delete a selected media item.
- Action
- View - change how the media items are displayed in the media folder explorer panel.
- Sort by - change how the media items are sorted.
- Start slideshow - starts a slideshow inside the media folders explorer panel when View is set to Filmstrip mode.
- Full screen slideshow - launches a full screen slideshow.
- Slideshow settings - allows you to set up your slideshow settings. Learn more about starting a slideshow further below.
- Refresh - refresh media folder.
