Overview

The Label Editor module lets you access and customize the labels for all user interface elements throughout DocuNote client. You can customize label texts to translate them into different languages or simply change text. For example, making your OK button say "Go".

Similarly, you can create new labels that can be used throughout the system, where this is supported. For example, when selecting values in a combo box (See Metaform - Custom field types), you can add names of already defined labels, which allows you to merge the labels into documents.


Search for and edit labels

  1. Access the Backstagepanel and under System administration click Label editor.

    The Label editor window is show.

  2. Enter the text next to the Search text box to find the specific label.

  3. Specify the language you are interested in.

  4. Optionally, you can Search for exact match by selecting the corresponding check box.

  5. Click Search.

  6. Select the relevant value and click Edit to open the Edit label "___" window

  7. Select the desired language and choose Edit and enter the text you want to appear instead of the default value or delete what has been entered to return to the default value.

  8. When done, Save your changes.

Tip:

Create new label

  1. Click on New to open the New custom label window

  2. Under Name, add the characters following @USR_ that together will form the desired database name.
