The functional fields help you to organize and structure the metadata within the metaform.
Like system and custom fields, all functional fields have the same basic properties (like assigning label, tooltip, resizing and moving the field on the form).

A field group delimiter represents a horizontal line with a label next to it. This system field can be helpful, if you want to control the layout of your metaform by separating the groups of fields.
Custom office properties for Field group delimiter field set up on Forms Designer itself:

| Background colour | Sets the background colour of the field. |
| Background colour 2 | Sets the second background colour in order to support gradients. |
| Border | Defines the border around the field. |
| Gradient angle | The numeric value defining gradient angle between gradient colours. |
| Text* | Text that will be displayed next to the icon. |
Clicking the arrow icon next to the Text property will open the WYSIWUG editor allowing you to easily format the text input to your needs.
