Overview

The explorer settings have a number of configuration options about the way DocuNote items are shown in the the Explorervinduet


Finding your settings

  1. Click the DocuNote tab and then, click Settings*.*
  2. In the left navigation panel, click Explorers*.*
  3. Check the following settings:
Setting Description
(111) Save users' sorting If Yes, the last applied sort order will be automatically applied the next time when the DocuNote unit is opened in the explorer panel or in the Tasks explorer.
(122) Show parent file control in explorer If Yes, the Parent case panel is displayed in the Explorervinduet
(123) Template preview pane Allows you to set a default view for ‣ You can choose from List and Details.
(124) Explorer view Allows you to set a default view for the explorer panel. You can choose from the list of Views defined in View management area.
This setting applies to the taxonomy explorer panel and search results explorer as well.
(150) Business unit view Allows you to set the default custom column view for business units.
(151) Archive cabinet view Allows you to set the default custom column view for archive cabinets.
(152) Case view Allows you to set the default custom column view for cases.
(153) Document folder view Allows you to set the default custom column view for document folders.
(507) E-mail folder view Allows you to set the default custom column view for e-mail folders.
(733) Mail list view Allows you to set the default custom column view for Mail lists.
Please note: From DocuNote 6.8 the sorting for the column view is also added
(331) Indent Allows you to adjust the indent width (the shift between each next sublevel in the Organization tree).
(352) Implicit document shortcut permissions The setting is applied to items displayed on the Explorer panel (both client and Web) and Document Webpart. If set to Yes, allows to view document's shortcuts without the permission to view the original document. The setting also provides the ability to open the original document in read-only mode by double-clicking its shortcuts, as well as it provides the posibility to edit documents if "Edit" permission is granted for parent document.
(452) Show toolbar for document preview Activates the PDF toolbar in the Preview pane for Office documents.
(656) Preview mode Defines display mode of the Preview'pane's mode.
Possible values: Horizontal; Vertical.
Default value is Vertical.
