Copying document by the context menu
You can use the copy function to create a duplicate of the document in another location.
- The duplicate can be saved in the document's original location.
- You can copy multiple documents at once, so you can rearrange documents quickly and easily.

⚠️ Please note:
- After this action, DocuNote will provide you with the latest version (draft or published) you have permission to access.
- Learn more about Organizational roles and assigning a permission to View Draft.
- When copying a document for which the latest version is published X.0, the copy will be published with version 1.0
- When copying a document for which the latest version is draft X.Y, the copy will be draft with version 0.1 (Y>0)
- Above logic does not apply to Agenda module where copied documents will always be draft.
- when copying agenda item for which the latest version is published X.0, the copy will be draft X.1
- when copying agenda item for which the latest version is draft X.Y, the copy will be draft X.Y+1

- It is possible to set whether new version should be As source (default) - Published - or Draft

To copy a document, right-click the document and select Other functions>Copy to location from the context menu.
The dialog box “Choose location” will appear
The document can be copied to any location which is allowed by the permissions.
To make a copy to a location different from the original document's location:
- In the Choose location dialog box, select the appropriate location.
- End by clicking “Copy and close”
- Or “Copy” if you want to copy multiple times

While copying, you can create a new organizational item by clicking the relevant New... button on the toolstrip.

You can also use the "Search" box to search for a location, just like Favorite folders and recently used locations can be used to navigate to the desired location.

It is also possible to copy the document as an attachment to another document.
Select the desired document, choose “Copy/Copy and close” and then select Copy as attachment

Copying can also be done using Ctrl+C/V following the same rules
