Overview

All Microsoft Office applications have a number of document properties - named values that provide information about the document.

For example the date and time at which the document was last saved, the last user to modify the document, etc.

This information is a dynamic data. This means you can update the property information at any time by evoking Document Properties panel inside Microsoft application. And now, after some configuration, you can easily update the property information inside DocuNote.

Document properties are either standard (built into the document) or are custom (user defined properties).

Standard document properties

Standard properties contain basic information about a document such as the file name, author, creation date, date last saved, number of words, etc.

The fields listing standard properties cannot be removed, however, their values can be easily modified.

Custom document properties

Custom properties are properties defined by the user.
