⚠️
Please note:

- Experimental - The iOS document editing is experimental. This means that the feature can be revoked without notice or changed in behavior and workflow.

Prerequisites
- Word, Excel, and PowerPoint must be installed on your iOS device
- You must be logged in to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with a licensed Office 365 version
- iCloud must be enabled for the DocuNote app
Known limitations
- During editing, don’t share/upload the document to OneDrive for sharing in the Office app. The document will be moved to the OneDrive location and cannot be checked in with the changes (changes will be preserved in OneDrive, though).
- Default check-in options (draft or published) do not adhere to the usual default rules, such as the user’s last choice.
- If the edit workflow goes wrong for some reason, the document editing can be reversed (Undo editing) in the DocuNote Desktop Client.
- Document Compatibility issues (see below)
Document Compatibility Issues
Office documents, such as docx, can have different versions, and only newer versions are supported by the mobile apps. When such a document is edited, you will see a message at the top of the Office application.
