Overview
The digital post module provides access to the digital post service (public sector). This allows you to easily send documents directly from the DocuNote Client.

💡 Tip:
-
The sender of the mail receives both an email and a notification (DocuNote clock) when the shipment is delivered to Digital Post. (Se below pictures for examples)
- This can be practical so you don't have to constantly check the status of an ongoing shipment - for example, to see if it has succeeded or if any errors have occurred.
- Note: Notification is sent as soon as the attempt to deliver to Digital Post is completed - even if delivery to the end user is at a later date.

-
From version 6.9, we support the Agency for Digital Government's new requirements for filenames from November 15, 2024, mentioned in this Newsletter.
- The following characters is some of the not accepted; < > : " / \ | ? *
, why these are removed from the filename before distribution - automatically.

⚠️ Please note:
- The main document will be locked when distribution is started/saved - The document can be unlocked by users with the necessary rights. Read about rights here; Organizational roles
- There’s a max of up till 10 attached documents with a combined max size of 99.5 mb for the distribution (see the announcement here)
- DocuNote supports file sizes up to around 30-40MB depending on the content of the files.
- Digitalpost officially supports a total file size of 99.5MB, but because DocuNote has to send the files through a binary process, this will approximately halve the allowed file size from DocuNote.
- The content of the files affects how much they can be compressed, as documents with a lot of text can be compressed more than documents with images.
