*On iOS you can view the document formats supported by Apple. This means that some formats cannot be viewed, like MSG files. Some 3rd party companies have developed viewers for unsupported document formats. Those viewers are of varying quality and should be tested carefully before relying on the quality.

Windows Phone and Android do not have a document viewer, but uses the built-in browsers as a viewer. Document formats supported by the browser can be viewed. This also means that additional viewers from 3-rd party companies can be installed. For example, you must install Adobe PDF reader to be able to view PDF files. As for iOS, such viewers can be of different quality and should be tested before usage.
