A case type is a reusable collection of metadata (metaform design), case templates, and other settings for a set of case in DocuNote.
You can easily change the case type by using the system field Edit case type from the Properties of the case.

Changing the case type does not roll out template documents/folders and case templates. This requires deployment via editing the case type. </aside>

For editing the metaform used by the casetype, choose “Edit metaform”. See Managing forms - Metaforms designer
Case type set during a case creation is displayed under the case title by default. If a case contains some description, then it will be also displayed along with a case type.
