If you want to create a new case, first you need to decide which case type you want the case to be based on. You can read more about case types here; Documents and cases - Case types
Navigate to your case or archive cabinet, and do one of the following:
Now select the case type that you want the case to be based on. In the right pane you will find the most recently used types, which makes it faster to create new cases.

Fill out the fields as you wish. The fields that you see when you create a case will depend on the case type that you have chosen, and which Metaforms designer that is linked to this case type.
You can edit the case type and the metaform directly from the creation wizard by clicking Edit case type or Edit metaform at the top of the window. It is required to have the permissions Design form for case under Metaforms designer and Manage case types under Documents and cases in module roles. Read more here; Module roles.
When you are done with filling in the fields, you click Create case.
