In DocuNote, you can explore and search the cases by geographic location.

To do so, you must first add the Localization field on relevant case metaform. For details, see the Maps

To assign a location to the case:

  1. Open the case's Properties form and navigate to the Localization field.

  1. Depending on the Localization type selected, you have different options how to define the location.
Localization type How to define location
Address Enter a specific address in the search box.
Land parcel The search box will split into two text boxes, where the first is used to specify the cadastral district name, and the second - the land parcel name.
Address on map Click the map to define the address. The address will be automatically filled in into the search box. Typing in the search box is not allowed in this mode.
Draw shape In this mode, the Draw shape toolbar is activated letting you quickly draw various shapes on the map. The following shapes are available: polylines, polygons, rectangles, markers.
[ContactPicker] Let you copy the location information from the related Contact Picker field. The Contact Picker field should be configured beforehand. For details, see the Maps.
  1. Click this icon to apply your changes to the Localization field.

  1. Click Save to apply changes to the case.

You can easily search for given case using the Localization search criteria on the Search page.
