Map Integration is an effective tool in DocuNote that enables you to add and manage geographical information for cases and contacts. With this module, you can easily assign precise locations through various methods such as addresses, land parcel numbers, or direct marking on an interactive map. The system also supports drawing areas and shapes, making it ideal for visualizing and organizing cases based on their geographical location. This provides better overview and facilitates searching for cases in specific areas.
To do so, you must first add the Localization field on relevant case metaform.
To assign a location to the case:
Localization type | How to define location |
---|---|
Address | Enter a specific address in the search box. |
Land parcel | The search box will split into two text boxes, where the first is used to specify the cadastral district name, and the second - the land parcel name. |
Address on map | Click the map to define the address. The address will be automatically filled in into the search box. Typing in the search box is not allowed in this mode. |
Draw shape | In this mode, the Draw shape toolbar is activated letting you quickly draw various shapes on the map. The following shapes are available: polylines, polygons, rectangles, markers. |
[ContactPicker] | Let you copy the location information from the related Contact Picker field. The Contact Picker field should be configured beforehand. For details, see the ‣. |
You can easily search for given case using the Localization search criteria on the Search page.
