Blank templates can include anything you might have to add every time you start a document of the type the template is based on.

This will save your time by not having to enter same information multiple times and/or do the formatting each time you begin a new document.

To create a blank template:

  1. Go to the Backstage panel and then click Templates*.*
  2. Navigate to the Blank templates folder.
  3. Create a new template in one of the following ways:

  1. Click the Browse... to locate a template you want to upload.
  2. Provide the template with a Name.
  3. Select Document Type you want to associate this blank template with.
  4. When done, click OK.

Once the blank templates have been uploaded, you can easily copy or move it to Document templates folder, view their properties, update with newest versions, add to favourites, etc.
