(Dansk version)
Introduction
Enable DocuNote Web Edition and Mobile two-factor authentication for extra login security. The following methods can be used: “SMS pin-code” or “one-time password (SMS)”. For DocuNote web you can also use “Authenticator”.
- SMS pin-code: When using this two-factor authentication method, the user must enter their username and password and an additional pin code, which is sent via SMS to their mobile phone.
- One-time password (SMS): When using one-time passwords, the regular password is not used. The user enters the username and only the one-time password that is sent via SMS to their mobile phone. A very practical solution for external users who rarely use their account, as they don't need to remember a password, only their username, which is typically their email address.
- Authenticator: (From DocuNote version 7.1) Uses an authentication app as two-factor authentication method, for verifying the user at login.
“SMS pin-code” and “one-time password (SMS)” is ignored for pages configured to use Active Directory Single Sign On.
