It is possible to create a new web user from an existing contact in your Address book.

- To work with users, you will need the "Manage user" module role.

To do this, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Address book and locate a contact that you want to create as a web user.
- Using right click on the contact to invoke context menu and select Create a web user.

- In the Create web user window, click on plus sign to select a local group in which the user will be created:

- In the Select a group window, type the name of the group you need and click Search. Once found, select it and click Ok.
A New user properties window will appear where the following fields on General tab are prefilled:
- First name
- Last name
- User name (full name)
- Addresses
- Phones
- E-mail addresses

Fill in the rest of the fields manually and click Save.
A web user from contact is created.
