As opposed to a regular DocuNote user, a web user is not an AD synchronized user. Web users are typically used for providing external partners with access to DocuNote Web Edition.

To create or convert regular users to web users:

1. Open the Properties form and switch to Account tab
2. Specify the Access using Web-portal checkbox.

• All users being converted to web users are listed under Web users node in the navigation tree. </aside>

You can limit the time for user access to the Web-portal within a particular time-frame.

To set a time limit for Web-portal access follow the steps below:

1. Open Properties of a user and go to Account tab;
2. mark Time-limited login to Web-portal checkbox.
3. select the appropriate time period in Login from and Login to combo boxes.
4. Click Save and Close

Now the access to Webportal for this user is limited by the indicated time-frame.

• To grant unlimited access to the Web-portal, Time-limited login to Web-portal checkbox should be unmarked.
• The Access using Web-portal checkbox should be marked for all web users. </aside>

For the users that have time limited login defined, Address book will present columns Login from and Login to.

Yellow color higlights users with limited login expiring in less than 24 hours. Red color higlights users with expired time limit.
