Overview

Attaching allows you to create references between contacts in your address book. Unlike Address book - Attaching contacts physically, shortcut is a virtual represantation of a contact throughout the address book.

You can create shortcuts to:

• companies under other companies;
• persons and companies in other contact lists.

• The shortcut references are preserved when you generate SQL Views on persons or companies. </aside>

Attach companies under other companies

To attach companies to other companies:

1. Navigate to the specific company.
2. Right-click it and select Attach company from the context menu. Alternatively, you can click the Attach company on the ribbon bar.

1. The Select a company dialog box will appear. Use the Search for box at the top to look up the companies that are stored in DocuNote address book.
