Overview

The shortcut keys allow you to navigate quickly and efficiently throughout DocuNote. Instead of using the mouse, you can click a combination of keys to perform the same actions as with the mouse. This section gives you an insight about most used shortcut keys in DocuNote.

Access keys

Access keys provide a way to quickly use a command by clicking a few keystrokes in any location of DocuNote.

Every command in DocuNote can be accessed by using an access key.

To use an access key:

1. Click and release the Alt key. The key tips will be displayed over each feature that is available in the current view.
2. Click the letter shown in the key tip above the feature you want to use. Depending on which letter you clicked, you may be shown additional key tips.
3. Continue clicking letters until you click the letter of the specific command or option that you want to use. In some cases, you have to first click the letter of the group that contains the command.

To cancel the action that you are taking and hide the key tips, click and release Alt or F10.
